We have known for a while that Austin is allergic to grass, trees and weeds. Now that he is getting older we took him for a more in depth test to see exactly what he is allergic to and so he can start allergy shots. Well they pricked his back 54 times and 44 of them whelped up right away with some awful itching. It was really one of the saddest things I have had to go through with my little man. He hung in there and we discovered he is allergic to just about every grass, tree and weed there is. Luckily he is all good with animals so Foxy can stay:) So next week we will begin a 3 year program of allergy shots to see if we can get rid of them all together.
The light at the end of the tunnel is the nurses told him he can tell Daddy, no yard work for me...I'm allergic.
Daddy's light at the end of the tunnel, he will be about 9 when this is over and if it all works he will be the perfect age to begin yard work allergy free...we won't tell him that for now though:)
