Vacation was a blast!! First we are so thankful for no oil and lots of good not steamy weather in the middle of summer! Our house was great, except is was 3 stories and we had to tote everything to the top. Whew, what a workout that was. The kids had a ball, swimming, finding shells & critters, digging moats in the sand, running up and down the stairs, playing monopoly and uno, and eating ice cream while they stayed up really late at night.
The fireworks were amazing. Everywhere you looked someone was lighting them up and they were big, loud and colorful.
On a side note, Rodney could only stay a few nights because he ended up being off work the week before for the kidney stone of all kidney stones. I'll keep you posted on the progress, because believe it or not he still has it. Next year we will be sure he gets the full time:)
Here are some of the pictures from our fun time. Can't wait for next year already.
It was most surprising how brave Austin and Hannah were about going far out in the water. Austin spent most of his time under the water and waves. These two are different as can be except when it comes to swimming and water fun.
